Bugz is a fun club for children aged 7 to 11 years held in the spacious facilities of Victoria Baptist Church. Children can attend on a regular or intermittent basis and are encouraged to bring along their friends.

Playing games, mixing and socialising is encouraged and organised activities take place throughout the morning. These include a Bible story, songs to live music, a big Game involving all the children and a special Challenge for daily living. There is also a popular Craft session,  for those less interested in crafts there are supervised games areas which include a play station, pool table, table tennis and vigorous games such as basketball and football can also be enjoyed.

The team of people running Bugz are those who are used to teaching Sunday School and organising children’s activities. We work within the Church’s ‘Safe to Grow’ policy, a copy of which is available for all parents to read at Bugz sessions. Teenage helpers are encouraged and the younger children benefit from seeing the older ones joining in and helping with the more physical activities.

There is no cost for Bugz but donations to cover drinks, biscuits and crafts are always welcome.

Dates  for BUGZ: It is always the Saturday before the Family Service which is on the second Sunday of the month. Specific dates are available on the Church’s front desk, posters and by enquiring at the church office on 01323 737974.
